Self-employed doctors
Your compulsory contribution amounts to 18.60 % of the annual income from self-employed medical work, not more than 10/10. You will first pay a preliminary contribution. The final vote of your contribution account will take place after presentation of the income tax notice or information from the tax advisor. The income of the penultimate year before tax is deducted.
If you choose an income-independent investment, you do not have to provide a proof of income. You will then pay a contribution level, at least 10/10 to a maximum of 15/10. You can find the application form here.
If you settle in your own practice, you can apply for the reduced start contribution of 3/10 in the year of the new establishment and the following calendar year. You can find the application form here.
Salaried doctors
If you are exempt from compulsory insurance in the statutory pension insurance, you pay 18.60 % of the gross wage subject to social insurance, not more than € 1,385.70 per month (employer and employee share).You can find the application form here.
Doctors without medical activity
If you have no income from medical activity, we will lead your membership without contributions. You can pay the 3/10 contribution. The SEPA direct debit mandate and further information can be found here.
Voluntary additional payment
Up to the 10/10 contribution, you can pay in any amount. If you would like to pay in addition, this is possible in contribution levels. For years after the age of 52 the possibility of additional payments is limited. The SEPA direct debit mandate and further information can be found here.
