As a member of the Ärztekammer Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, you are a member of the Ärzteversorgung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Exemption from compulsory insurance
You can be exempted from the compulsory insurance in the statutory pension insurance for the benefit of Ärzteversorgung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The exemption shall apply from the start of the employment relationship if it is requested within three months.
Contribution
If you are exempt from compulsory insurance in the statutory pension insurance, you will pay 18.60 % of the gross wage subject to social insurance, not more than € 1,385.70 per month (employer and employee share).
Transfer
If you have paid contributions to another Ärzteversorgung for less than 97 months and you are not yet 50 years old, you can apply for the transfer of contributions. The application shall be submitted within six months of the commencement of employment.
