As long as you do not exercise your medical profession as a member of the Ärztekammer Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, you are excluded from membership in the Ärzteversorgung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

If you have already been entitled to an occupational invalidity pension from the Ärzteversorgung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from previous periods, you become a compulsory member.
